Cubevex Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 07/18/2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all customers and users of Minecraft server hosting, VPS, and related services (the "Services") provided by Cubevex. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, termination, and/or forfeiture of paid fees, at our discretion, depending on severity.
1. Purpose
This policy exists to keep the Services usable, lawful, and safe for all customers who share our infrastructure. Some rules exist to protect other customers from resource abuse and network attacks; others exist because certain activity is illegal regardless of what platform it runs on.
2. Illegal Activity
You may not use the Services to engage in, facilitate, or store material related to any activity that is illegal under U.S. federal law, the law of the state or country in which you reside, or the law of the jurisdiction in which our infrastructure is located. This includes, without limitation, fraud, illegal gambling operations, sale of controlled substances, and trafficking in stolen data or credentials.
3. Child Safety
Cubevex has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, in any form, including within Minecraft server builds, chat logs, plugins, or file storage. Any account found in violation will be terminated immediately without notice or refund, and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement as required by law.
4. Network and System Abuse
You may not:
4.1 Launch, participate in, or facilitate denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks against any target.
4.2 Conduct port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing against systems you do not own or lack explicit written authorization to test — including other Cubevex customers.
4.3 Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or network, including through credential stuffing, brute-forcing, or exploiting software vulnerabilities.
4.4 Distribute or operate malware, ransomware, botnets, remote access trojans, or command-and-control infrastructure.
4.5 Use the Services to send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or operate open mail relays or open proxies.
4.6 Consume shared network or hardware resources (bandwidth, CPU, RAM, disk I/O) in a manner disproportionate to your plan or that degrades service for other customers.
4.7 Run sustained cryptocurrency mining or other continuous high-intensity compute workloads not disclosed at time of purchase, unless your specific plan permits it.
5. Content Restrictions
You may not host, store, transmit, or link to:
5.1 Pirated software, cracked game clients, or content that infringes third-party copyright or trademark rights.
5.2 Content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that promotes violence, terrorism, or hatred against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
5.3 Phishing pages, fraudulent storefronts, or infrastructure designed to deceive or defraud third parties.
5.4 Any material otherwise prohibited under Section 2 or Section 3 of this policy.
6. Minecraft Server Conduct
6.1 Your server, including any plugins, mods, resource packs, and player-facing monetization (e.g., ranks, cosmetics), must comply with the Minecraft End User License Agreement (EULA) and Minecraft Usage Guidelines published by Mojang/Microsoft.
6.2 You are responsible for moderating your own server community; Cubevex does not moderate in-game chat or player conduct proactively, but may act on credible abuse reports.
6.3 Servers may not be used to distribute cheats, exploits, or unauthorized modification tools targeting other games or platforms.
7. Reselling and Account Sharing
7.1 You may not resell or provide the Services to third parties as your own hosting business without our prior written consent, unless your plan is explicitly marketed as reseller-eligible.
7.2 Account credentials may not be shared in a way that circumvents plan limits (e.g., multiple unrelated parties operating independent servers under one account to avoid separate billing).
8. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of a violation of this AUP — by another customer or against your own service (e.g., you are being attacked from a Cubevex-hosted IP) — report it to [email protected] with as much detail as possible (IP addresses, timestamps, logs, screenshots).
9. Enforcement
9.1 We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to take any action we deem appropriate, including warnings, service suspension, content removal, termination, and reporting to law enforcement, without prior notice for severe or illegal violations.
9.2 Violations of this AUP are not eligible for refunds under our Refund Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
