Cubevex Privacy Policy
Last updated: 07/18/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Cubevex ("Cubevex," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our Minecraft server hosting, VPS, and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information. When you register, we collect information such as your name, email address, and any other details you provide (e.g., Discord username, billing address).
1.2 Payment Information. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store full credit card numbers on our own servers. We retain limited billing metadata (transaction IDs, amounts, dates) for accounting and dispute purposes.
1.3 Technical and Log Data. We automatically collect information such as IP addresses, device/browser information, access timestamps, and server resource usage (CPU, RAM, disk, bandwidth) for the purpose of operating, securing, and troubleshooting the Services.
1.4 Server and Account Content. This includes files, configurations, and data you upload to your Minecraft server or VPS instance. We do not routinely inspect this content, but may access it as necessary to provide support at your request, to investigate a suspected Acceptable Use Policy violation, or where required by law.
1.5 Support Communications. Information you provide when contacting support, including ticket contents, chat logs, and any attachments.
1.6 Cookies. Our website and client area may use cookies or similar technologies for session management (e.g., keeping you logged in) and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect site functionality.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
2.1 Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including provisioning servers and processing payments.
2.2 Communicate with you about your account, billing, service status, and support requests.
2.3 Monitor for and prevent fraud, abuse, network attacks, and violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
2.4 Improve and troubleshoot the Services.
2.5 Comply with legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests from law enforcement or regulators.
2.6 Send administrative or promotional communications; you may opt out of promotional emails at any time.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
3.1 Service providers who help us operate the business, such as payment processors, hosting/data center providers, email delivery services, DDoS mitigation providers (e.g., Cloudflare), and the billing/panel software we use to run the Services (e.g., Paymenter, Pterodactyl).
3.2 Legal and safety purposes, where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation (subpoena, court order), to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cubevex, our customers, or the public, or to investigate suspected violations of our policies, including reports to NCMEC or law enforcement in child-safety cases (see our Acceptable Use Policy).
3.3 Business transfers. If Cubevex converts to an LLC, corporation, or otherwise transfers its business (e.g., merger, acquisition, sale of assets), customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a policy providing at least equivalent protections.
4. Data Retention
4.1 We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations thereafter.
4.2 Server content (world files, configurations, and similar data) is deleted no later than thirty (30) days after account termination, consistent with our Terms of Service.
4.3 Support ticket history and technical logs may be retained for a reasonable period for security, quality, and dispute-resolution purposes.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own account credentials.
6. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed at, and account registration is not permitted for, individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) without a parent or legal guardian accepting our Terms on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us information should contact [email protected].
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
8. International Users
Our infrastructure and service providers may be located in the United States or other countries. By using the Services, you understand your information may be processed and stored in a country different from your own, which may have different data protection laws.
9. Third-Party Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., payment processors, documentation). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; review their policies separately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
